These original SportsSteps pamphlets — the ones pictured above — were sold as an accessible way for families to learn core skills in sports like:

Each booklet proudly displayed the classic SportsSteps logo and carried the same mission statement:
“SportsSteps Presents: The Fundamentals — Enhance your game of…”
These weren’t gimmicks at all.
They were short, clear, easy-to-follow guides that broke each sport down into teachable steps like:
